Off to warm and exotic Kingston tomorrow....Kingston, Rhode Island that is!! Ya, should be a great time. In my day job, which is coaching track and field, we have the conference indoor championships at the University of Rhode Island. It actually should be an interesting trip seeing as how this will be the first ever indoor championship for Saint Louis University. Updates will be sure to follow.
Training went well today. Obviously with the cold weather I was indoors. My trainer is in a storage unit in Kansas, so when I'm indoors its on a stationary bike, which really isn't that bad. At least I can get some useful information when I'm on the stationary. Definitely not information I would base my training on, but still it puts me in the ball park. Only rode for 45 minutes today. I'm slowly increasing the miles and the ride time. It was nice to finally see a flyer for froze toes. I'm definitely riding with the pro's/1/2's. As long as I stay smart, I'll be fine. The hip is starting to feel much better...amazing what a little flexibility will do!!!
Well off to Rhode Island..updates will follow...Happy Mardi Gras!!!
